Millford is the new watercolor paper developed by St Cuthberts Mill with excellent characteristics. It recovers some qualities, highly sought after by watercolorists, of the famous Whatman paper
Made from 100% cotton, its texture is created using natural wool felts. Millford paper has been designed to have a high resistance to wetting by maintaining humidity for longer.
It allows you to work more easily and effectively with the wet-on-wet technique. Furthermore, having a more impermeable structure, the paper keeps the color more on the surface and, once dry, the pigments maintain a remarkable brilliance and luminosity.
It allows you to create interesting highlights because the fiber gives the possibility to remove the pigment even after drying.
